Let’s practice English at Cal Ganxo!

Last February 19th and 26th, 5th and 6th grade students went to Cal Ganxo to practice the English language in a different way. On the one hand, 5th grade students became Hogwarts students for a day and they worked cooperatively in different escape room activities. On the other hand, 6th grade students participated in an orienteering race and they had fun working together. 

We had a great time!

El passat 19 i 26 de febrer, els alumnes de 5è i 6è van anar a Cal Ganxo per practicar l’anglès d’una manera diferent. Per un costat, 5è es va convertir en alumnes de Hogwarts per un dia i, de manera cooperativa, van resoldre diferents activitats de escape room. Per l’altre costat, els alumnes de 6è van participar en una cursa d’orientació i s’ho van passar molt bé treballant junts.

Ens ho vam passar genial!

5th grade goes to La Granja on an excursion; a Halloween experience!!

Yesterday we went in an excursion to La Granja where we enjoyed doing Halloween activities in the woods. We also worked cooperatively and in integrated activities.

We had a great time!!!

5è va a La Granja d’excursió; una experiència de Halloween!!

Ahir vam anar d’excursió a La Granja a on vam gaudir fent activitats de Halloween al bosc. Les activitats van ser cooperatives e integradores.

Ens ho vam passar molt bé!!

Pumpkin Fest!!

Dear families,

From the English department you are welcomed to the 1st Pumpkin Contest in Can Roca School.

You can join us bringing your decorated pumpkin until Wednesday the 30th. To run the pumpkin fest your pumpkin must go together with a little rhythm or poem about Halloween, The winning pumpkin will have a little prize.

Last week,  we went to Alberg Jaume I to spend two nights out with our second grade pupils. We practiced being artists and we also did some wandering activities in the fields around the house.

We all had a great experience and we practiced English too!!

La semana pasada va manar de colònies al alberg Jaume I amb els nostres alumnes de segon de primària. Vam fer tot un munt d’activitats artístiques i vam anar d’excursió per la natura del voltant.

Ens ho vam passar d’allò més bé i a més a més vam practicar l’anglès.

Colònies de quart: Adventures in the mountain.

Last week  we went to El Clar del Bosc to spend two nights out with our fourth grade pupils. We practiced adventure sports and we did some excurions around the mountains.

We all had a great experience and we practiced English too!!

La setmana passada vam anar de colònies a El Clar del Bosc amb els nostres alumnes de quart de primària. Vam fer esports d’aventura i vam anar d’excursió per la natura.

Ens ho vam passar d’allò més bé i a més a més vam practicar l’anglès.

Last Tuesday 6th grade students went on an excursion to Alberg Viladoms de Baix to play cooperative games and enjoy practicing English. We had a really good time!

El passat dimarts els alumnes de sisè vam anar d’excursió a l’Alberg Viladoms de Baix per a fer jocs cooperatius i gaudir practicant l’anglès. Ens ho vam passar d’allò més bé.

Yesterday we were in an excursion in La Granja Escola to work and enjoy emotional competences. We worked in cooperative, confidence and self-confidence, and integration activities.

Ahir vam anar d’excursió a la Granja Escola per gaudir i treballar les competències emocionals. Vam treballar la cooperació, la confiança i autoconfiança i la integració.

English Theatre // Teatre en Anglès

Last Friday the 1st of February our Primary pupils enjoyed some English theatre at the gym of the school.

The plays we saw were: Little Red Riding Hood for first and second grade, Snow White for third and fourth grade and Frankenstein for fifth and sixth grade.

El passat divendres 1 de Febrer els alumnes de primària van gaudir al gimnàs de l’escola del teatre en anglès.

Les obres que vam veure van ser: La Caputxeta Vermella per a cicle inicial, Blancaneus per a cicle mitjà, i Frankenstein per a cicle superior.
